Top Ten: Bible Verses

Repost June 23, 2021

Hey all! Sorry it’s been so long… I’ve had a super busy June, and I was away for 10 of those days (post coming on that sometime *winks*). I’m still planning on a big post end of this month, so watch for that!

 So I’ve decided to start a new series where I will be posting my favorite Bible verses. I’m thinking will go through each of the books of the Bible (maybe combining a few) and picking out my top 10 from each. To start, today I’m just going to do my top 10 from the whole Bible. Now, not sure how accurate this is, cause it would take ages to look through all my highlights and somehow pick my ABSOLUTE TOP TEN! Lol, so this is just 10 that are probably somewhere near the top… 🙂 I tried to pick some that aren’t very famous too – so maybe you could call them my Rare Top 10😁

Verses from the English Standard Version

1. Habakkuk 3:17-19 -Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.

2. Isaiah 43:1-2 – But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

3. Colossians 3:23 – Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,

4. Isaiah 38:5 – I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears.

5. Exodus 3: 11-12 – But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

6. Isaiah 61:1 – The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

7. Acts 4:29- And now, Lord look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness

8. – Hebrews 8:12 – For I will be merciful toward their iniquities and I will remember their sins no more

9. Romans 8:24 – For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?

10. Micah 7:8 – rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.

Stayed tuned for some more Top 10!! I hope these verses can be a blessing in your life today! Praying for you!
