Romance’s Rest Launch Week – Character Spotlight – Faeth Dale

Welcome to the Romance’s Rest Launch Tour! I’m so excited for this book to come out – this whole series has been so good and wholesome, and I know this book will be too! If you are like me any book with the word “romance” on it strikes fear in your heart. Not so with this book! This book is written just for those of us who shy away from romance. It’s not your typical romance book – this is about the real thing. And look at this beautifully short content list…

CONTENT: No violence, no language, no fantasy or magic. Squeaky clean romance. A newly-engaged couple holds hands. A few brief mentions of forward people who unsuccessfully attempt to flirt with a character

A real romance book with not one single kiss (not that kissing is wrong – but I love that it is still possible to write romance without it)! I absolutely cannot wait to read this book – Erika is going to show the world how romance ought to be written! 💖

Today I’m super thrilled to share with you some things about Faeth, the main female character in this book. Then be sure to check out the tour schedule to help you figure out where to go next!

Faeth Dale

Age at the time of Romance’s Rest: 24
Personality: INFP

Height: 5’6”
Hair: light-medium brown long hair that she often has braided in a crown around her head and then in a single braid to one side (sometimes she puts her hair up; sometimes she wears it down loose).

Eyes: deep brown

About Faeth

Faeth likes working with plants and flowers. She grows herbs and flowers of all types, then turns them into a variety of practical products. She’s lively, joyous, and has a positive outlook on life. She loves helping, serving, and counseling others. She has a close relationship with Adon Olam and is a diligent worker. She’s the middle child in her close-knit family: she has two older brothers, an older sister, a younger sister, and two younger brothers.

In style, Faeth stands out. She often wears a two-piece mid-calf-length blouse/skirt-style dress instead of the more normal one-piece ankle length dresses that most Taernan women wear.

Author note

“Faeth Dale. I particularly enjoyed inventing the Dale family and their various personalities. Faeth came first, of course, inspired by a Pinterest image of a girl arranging flowers. Her character sprang to life almost fully formed, and developing her nuances was fun. She’s a great character!”

Fun Fact: Faeth’s name appears 414 times in Romance’s Rest!
