Welcome Friends! One of my favorite quotes was found carven on a wall in a concentration camp during WWII. It says, “I believe in the sun, even when it’s not shining. I believe in love, even when I’m alone. I believe in God, even when He is silent.” Sometimes the darkness feels like it’s drowning out the light. Sometimes it feels like the evil is winning. Yet when the sun goes down each evening, you never wonder whether or not it will rise again the next morning. You just know it will. When you turn on a light switch, the dark has no chance of staying there. The light ALWAYS wins. Sometimes it may feel like God isn’t near. But He always is. Maybe He is hidden behind that cloud of doubt, but He’s still there. And He always wins. Darkness has no chance when He is here. And guess what! He’s already won the battle! He crushed the serpent’s head when He took those nails for YOU and ME! He’s already paid the price. Together, lets continue to seek HIM, the Light of the World. When you are facing a light, you can’t see the shadows. They fall directly behind you. So even though there are still shadows all around us, let’s turn towards the SON, and they won’t matter to us anymore. They’ll still be there, but with God first and foremost in our life, the shadows will have no effect on us.
