Happy Saturday bookworms! And happy World Book Day! Yup- today is day set aside completely to books! How epic is that?! While I wish I could say I will spend the whole day reading in celebration, I can’t. Lord willing, I’ll be planting strawberries! ๐ But hopefully I can squeeze in a chapter tonight just for fun!
But I do have some other things planned to celebrate – A collab with fellow readers and bloggers! These lovely ladies have joined me and each of us will be sharing our answers to The Fruit of the Spirit Book Tag along with answers to questions we have asked each other. Click on their name to go to their blog and read their post!

Katja’s Question – Whatโs your favorite classic (meaning a book written before 1980; doesnโt have to be well known!)
Yup, probably The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
–
–

Heaven’s Question – If you could only take one book with you, which book would you take?
Oh dear – Of course I’d pick the Bible, but besides that? Maybe Enemy Born or A Penny Parcel. Enemy Born because I love the message and it’s the kind of book I want to write, and A Penny Parcel because it’s over 500 pages and I adore that and it’s just beautiful!
–
–

Jovey’s Question – What is a book you could re-read over and over and not get tired of?
Books ๐ The Accidental Cases of Emily Abbott Series They are so fun and I love them๐
–
–
–

Hannah’s Question – What is your favorite book series?
Hands down – War of the Realms. This series was sooo good – Highly recommend it!
–
–
–

My Question – What is one non-fiction book you recommend to everyone?
Oh there’s so many! Here’s one – This Changes Everything
–
–
–

And now for the tag!!
Heaven pointed me to this tag from Lindsay @ BFCG and I thought it looks super fun! So, sit back and get ready for some rapid-fire book recommendations and maybe some laughs too ๐

Love – Name your top three favorite book couples
– James and Leah from Journey to the Cross
– Brennan and Kiera from Kiera
– The High Prince and Carwyn from Enemy Born
Runner up because I can’t help it – Gavin and Keanna from Kingdom’s Call and Kingdom’s Quest
–

Joy – Name a character who went through horrible trials. Were they joyful? Would you have been if you went through the same?
By Paths Unknown Austin goes through a lot with his mother’s death and the move – but he grows a lot in this book! Really loved this one! (It would defiantly be hard, but I hope I would be and learn the same things Austin did)
–
–

Peace – Name a book where a river or body of water is important to the story
Beloved The ocean/beach plays a big part in this lovely story! ๐
–
–
–

Patience – Name a book you anticipated/are anticipating reading
Deceived!! So excited for this one!
–
–
–

Kindness – Name a selfless character
Hamid in Star of Light. He gave so much for his dear little sister!
–

The Warden and the Wolf King Oh, the ending! ๐ Just – “oh my goodness”
–
–
–

Faithfulness – Name an author whose books you will always buy without question
Erika Mathew’s books! They are so good, and I completely trust her books and their content!
–
–

Gentleness – Show us your most damaged book
Lies Young Women Believe I did a study with this one with some other girls and it got used hard! Even though certain sections didn’t really apply to me (though maybe they will one day), it was very good and full of truth!
–
–

Self-Control – Name the strangest place you’ve ever read because you couldn’t wait any longer to continue the story
Okay, this one made me laugh – I definitely have a strange one for you! ๐ I read Hunting in the Highlands while showering ๐

How are you going to celebrate World Book Day? What’s the strangest place you’ve read? ๐
Keep planting and watering, the harvest will come!
-autumn

MUHAHAHA! Lol – ummm, so our toilet is right next to the shower, so I just set the book on the toilet and used a shampoo bottle to hold it open and then yeah. ๐คญ
Thanks for reading and participating!

Oh wowwwww ๐ Iโve heard of people having waterproof bags to hang in the shower with their phones in them so they can listen to music, and wondered if that was your trickโฆ

Haha no not this time – though I did do that once, so I could keep up with a chat – it was quite the night and I just couldn’t miss it, so I just had to be able to still read the messages ๐คญ

You actually read while showering? I’d be so afraid something would happen to my precious book! Though Hunting in the Highlands was a hard one to put down. I read it all in one evening/night. Loved reading all your answers! Thank you for hosting this collab! It was a lot of fun.

I only did it once though – that I can remember – though I may have done it with The War of the Realms series too ๐คญ๐

Lol okay…
I do it with my Kindle – we have a stand-up shower with a sliding door and I slip my Kindle (in a Ziploc to protect it from water) a little bit into the rubber lining at about my eye height in the shower door… ๐คฆ
We also have the sink/counter right beside the shower, so I put a newspaper on that and I can see it through the glass of the shower.

Oooh this is my five millionth reminder to read a Chuck Black novel. ๐ lots of good look inโ books here that I havenโt heard of before, thanks for the suggestions.
LOL while showeringโฆ I donโt think Iโve done THAT. Baths only. With my kindle, which is theoretically waterproof, hehe
